He gives you every ounce of his energy every time he performs. Richard Elliot is one of today’s greatest saxophone artists. There are many I listen to, but the Scottish born musician and former band member of Tower of Power is my favorite. I was introduced to Richard Elliot’s music back in 1991. The first CD I heard was “On the Town.” One of my preferred songs on the album is Midnight Passion. It epitomises the passion and potency of every note Mr. Elliot effortlessly releases from his saxophone. The ballad crescendoes half way into the melody and then the song comes to a pleasurable end.
Another great hit by this passionate saxophonist is the simple but straightforward song entitled Just Me and You from his “What’s Inside” album. Richard Elliot has been creating exceptional music for the better part of four decades. His latest CD, “Authentic Life” is Elliot’s latest masterpiece.
